Breastfeeding in public.

Spain

As the tittle suggest, there is a whole controversy in regards to this subject. My personal point of view is neutral as I am a woman and defend my sex. I do not mind seeing other womens breast exposed as to me is perfectly normal. Now... I undertand that some people may feel unconfortable seeing such "act of feeding" a baby as repulsive and even with disgust. What ia your stand/view on this subject?

It's a natural thing but I do honestly think some women make a big thing of feeding their kid in public. They sort of want to cause offense and like it when people take issue then they can jump on to net mums and be all offended with their friends Often in many places there are baby changing/feeding rooms but some women choose not to use them and like to do it in public.

I have yet to see a baby feeding room?... I understand where you're coming from and can agree to an extent.

@beatrizguiselle because we are from different countries there are going to be different ways of seeing things. Even here where I am loads of shops and shopping malls have baby changing/feeding rooms and have for some time now. In bigger UK cities they are even more prevalent.

@Mike197602 i lived in Spain for a while, dont recall seeing those.. However in Spain we are much more open now. In the United Stated it seems to be more of an "issue" than anything else. You are completely correct, different countries will have different things.

I'm fine with it. It's a means of feeding one's child.

I believe itis a private matter between a mother and a child and the rest of us don't need to be exposed!!
