P.S. This has been open up or discussed before but i want to share what i watched last night. Does she have a choice? She has actually. To either had the papers signed or go back home.to the Philippines. Watched "90 day fiancee" on TLC last night, i felt sad for one woman, her name is nikki. Nikki is from Cebu, Philippines and she is 19 years old. With her fiancee, aged 59, she had gone to US with a fiancee visa. Age for me is not a question, i know some will. With their wedding coming, their relationship is being put to the test. Her fiancee not thinking of having a baby which she wanted, to the wedding dress she found and he told her it quite expensive (wedding dress is $2300). With the prenup, her fiancee explained, what he earns will be his and what she earns will be hers. And if she won't sign the papers, no wedding will happen and she will be going back to the Philippines. I am okay with signing a prenup, but i was thinking of Nikki's case. What do you think?

I can't see any kind of good end coming from this relationship. I think she should get on a plane and go home.

I have not watched this. I think Nikki has been in for quite a shock with this guy. Yeah not age she already knew that. But I think she will prevail if she signs it but read it carefully, that is if she still wants to marry him. It is his way or the highway so to speak..now if is up to her. But if she does not want to marry him she cant stay here?

@Lucky15 It is an awful mess some of these lovely women come to over here in this place. They think they are coming to a better life, but no.

In my opinion this marriage would be a disaster. I think that she should be better if she came back home and forget about this (too old) man.

A prenup is already common even here in our country. She must sign it, or not? But there is a good side; if she earns more than her BF, then she has her own money alone.

I don't know the whole story. But if ever they really love each other, then it's okay to sign the papers. But if she will just marry the man because of his money, I think it is better to come back home.

I think the man is trying to play it safe. He doesn't want to get backstabbed if she doesn't really love him (due to the age difference). And if they get divorced she may half of his assets/cash and maybe even alimony. But ultimately the question is - Does she truly love him or want a different life for her in the US?

The guy is right , because the Filipina can just be after his money or being at the US .

I will pack up and go.. But if I was a 19 years old , marrying a 59 years old won't be a part of the plan ..

I think if I was Nikki I'd be on my way home to find someone who would really love me, let me have a baby and have money (just kidding about the money, when I got married I married an older man (by 5 years) and he had no bags of money. We do now, because we worked for it...

If there are any children born of this lopsided union, the man should be responsible for their support at least. Maybe he is a bit lecherous?

I haven't seen the show, but I think that is too old for a 19 year old. That is a 40 year difference. My fiance is 4 years older than me.

That is good if both of them are well-off; not good if the man is rich and the woman is not. I think both should have their own money to brag about, because inevitably, a prenup is a must.
