You just dump them. You do not arrange them.

I am talking about these beautiful lilies. I am into flower arrangements. In fact I had an exhibition a few years ago. Flower arranging needs time and imagination but when it comes to lilies they do that for you. Just dump them in a sleak, neat, tall vase and there you are You have the most exquisite arrangement.

what?? yer 'pposed to arrange them there flowers? dang, always knew i was doin' such wrong, lol. i used to run 'round gatherin' wildflower blossoms, honeysuckles, lavendar 'n swipin' a few diff'rent colored/scented roses 'n shovin' 'em into jar fer my mamaw whilst she was still with's. she couldn't see, but recalled the fragrances 'n textures. good thingy, coz she'd prolly giggled o'er my idea'f flower arrangin'.
those're jest beautiful! they're set off beautifully with the...geesh, the brain's shut down - 're those croton leaves?

Yes indeed they are croton leaves. I could have used lily leaves but these were already in the vase. I just dumped the lilies there.
You do need to arrange flowers when you are faced with a situation such as this. There are no flowers in this arrangement but I had to use some imagination and a bit of my time

@allknowing i'm prone to leavin' the flowers outdoors i fear. i'd prefer to go out'n see/smell 'em. but, i do admire ya fer yer talent!

Those crotons were already there. Lilies have their own shade of green on their stems
