Ready for the Surgery

I’ve mentioned in my previous post that my cyst has gone down. Last April 5, I had a follow-up check up and my OB told me to prepare for a laparoscopic surgery. For me, it is a good news. It means I will not have to go through the traditional ovarian cyst surgery in which the surgeon has to make incision in my abdomen. Laparoscopic surgery is non-onvasive and has low downtime compared to the traditional surgery. Last night, I received a phone call from a surgeon and she would like to talk to me today in her clinic to know if I am physically, emotionally and financially ready. This government hospital has an open slot on the fourth week of April but I would like to have it in in the first week of May as I have to fix my expired passport. I have been under treatment since 2007 and finally I have to say bye-bye to my cyst. Honestly, I am excited more than afraid.? I may sound weird to be excited for a surgery. A lot of people get anxious when they know that they have to go under the knife. Have you ever been excited for a surgery? Anyway, I'll talk to my OB and Surgeon later, I will update you guys!

Nail on your toes? Did you accidentally stepped on a nail? Thanks for the comment.

No, I have never been excited waiting for surgery, but I cannot understand how you feel after all those years.
