Ever Heard of Acromegaly? It's Shocking

I was pretty amazed one day when my doctor suddenly got this look on his face and said, "I think I know what it is you have!" He sent me for a scan, and he proved right. It was the first case he had personally experienced of acromegaly.
Know what that is? I would suggest you click this URL for the surprise answer. No, I don't make any money if you do so, and no, it is not a hostile site that attacks your computer...
See the title within the URL? Yup, the tallest man. Think tall. Think REALLY tall. If I had been a decade or two younger when I developed acromegaly, I might be half again my current size.
BY THE WAY, I was operated on, successfully, by the same physician as the tallest man in the world (currently living), Sultan Kosen of Turkey, was. The same hospital, the University of Virginia.

Actually, to think of it is cool, but there are so many problems associated with it that, no, I'm glad I was successfully operated on/ medicated/ irradiated.

@KuznVinny Well, that's true. Then good thing you are already free from it.

It was a surprise to me, as you can guess. But then, my health issues - generally milder ones - have always been a little "outre."

Thank you, Mammots. I had the same surgeon as Sultan Kosen, the current world's tallest man who is, not only alive, but got married.
