Eat your Wheaties, Feeling your Cheerios

This morning I feel I am a serial (cereal) commenter perhaps. Personally I just grazed on my homemade granola. It is funny how all these advertising slogans from my childhood are showing up to start my day. I had another one of those weird nights. I was tired, went to bed, lay awake, sat in the recliner, dreamed my hubby came to find me, went to bed and then could not stay asleep this morning. Some of it is bound to be allergies. I could not breathe this morning. I am beginning to wonder about Restless Leg, but NO I do not need another mystery ailment. Maybe my legs will stay in bed if I get out there and walk and soak up sunshine. That is going to be my first approach. I have been slacking on that. So, Good morning from Kansas. We are going to have mild weather. It was pretty hot yesterday. It has not been consistent enough yet to turn the heat off though.

Good morning Heather. Well, it's night time here in our place and I am about to go to bed a few minutes from now. Good night for me then.

Ha, you ate granola, so how is it that you're feeling your cheerios? I don't get it. As far as sleeping better, have you heard about essential oils? I've used lavender for sleeping and it does help us sleep better the whole night through. The better quality essential oils are better, better smelling and not so intrusive. That may also be something to try out along with a bit of walking each day. Okay,, so I just read Alfredo's response, and maybe get the title a bit morre than before.

Actually I have a number of essential oils and yes, I need to remember to use them. Actually I have copied an online pain relief oil. It will be even better later. I added lavender which was not in the original. I think I will get some now. It also helps me breathe better. I was just remembering cereal slogans from when I was young.

Well they changed the forecast a bit. Lots of wind and cooler temps and frost warning tonight. I think my legs are missing having good walks.

@GardenGerty The forecasters don't seem to be all that accurate this year do they?

@GardenGerty Yeah that would be something to be paid for being wrong. lol Glad you were able to go out and have a nice walk. That is one good idea to write down the addresses and then you can go and check it out.

And a good morning from Canada or if you prefer our French way "Bonjour". I have restless legs and it could be why you have bad nights too. I went to a Sleep Lab and spent a whole night there connected with all those wires. They film every second and they can tell you after what's wrong with you.

My sister got a sleep study. She has apnea and has a CPAP machine. I know my fibromyalgia makes it hard to get good rest at times.

Good morning to you! It has been steadily creeping toward the 60s here, but that is still too cold for me. I'm on my first cup of coffee.

Freeze advisory for tonight, so I am glad my houseplants are still inside. I may make a second pot of coffee just because I can.

We are having a freeze warning tonight, so I guess there will not be any to share. A month ago I would have said the weather is warm.

@GardenGerty We've woken up with so much crazy weather. We've had frost warnings, snow, wind, and sunny spring days. Mother nature and Old Man winter need to stop!

We have to quit doing that. I did get my walk. Not a long one, but satisfactory. I caught a slower part of the windy day. It picked up later again.

there are some vitamins that help with restless legs, plus, yeah, exercise. Also, I have heard that taking a spoonful of local honey a day can help with those allergies

@GardenGerty vitamin D, iron or vitamins C and E are the things I read that a person with RLS might be low in, and could help relieve it, along with of course, exercise

Good day from California's high desert. The air is clean and beautiful out here...and I eat my oats (and my dog does too) every day.

When I had cats that needed homemade cat food it always had oats and pumpkin in it. Our air moves very briskly on top of my hill. I need to do some landscaping.

After going back to sleep for a couple of hours I feel primed and ready for . . . something. Not outdoors as it is cold and windy.

It is good, much less sugar and fat. Easy. Throw all your favorite things in a roaster and cook it on very low temperature for about an hour. Then add dried fruits.

Well, not too hot today. Our hottest months will come in August and September. We will have some spells though before that.
