Have You Ever Done Something Stupid?

I swear that we are given 9 lives when we are kids and pretty much use them up before we become adults. I can remember one incident that had to be THE DUMBEST THING I could ever have done.
It involved jumping in hay in a barn belonging to the family down the road! It started out with us climbing the ladder to the wall... creeping along the ledge and then jumping into the hay.
The stupid part was when we decided to climb up to a beam that wasn't against any wall at all and crawl across than then jump. All it would have taken is for one of to have lost our balance and then that would have been the end of it. We wouldn't have hit the hay.
Do I take the prize for the Most Stupid Kid on the Planet or can you beat me??

Oh my goodness. I don't know, I have done some really stupid things growing up, and as a young Mom, still growing up,with my kids, I also did some stupid things with them. But you know. God took care of me and made sure I made it through those times. My Mom used to tell me... God watches over the ones that their parents don't watch over, and he also watches over the "stupid" ones, and I guess that "stupid" one included me. :: smiles :: Love to you.

I remember going on road trip while in college (not adult yet, mentally at least). It was a borrowed jeep with no seat belts and no headlights. We had to do most of our driving during the day, and we'd rest at night. And by rest, I mean drink our way to sleep.
I remember on our way back to the campus, and on a highway, the differential in the jeep broke off sending a trail of sparks in the highway. If that differential broke off the other way, front first, we would have flipped over the highway a few times.
One out of nine was surely spent there!

Yes, didn't know what it was either at that time. We could have been in a serious accident, yet we were completely oblivious to it.

I did something stupid last week, when in a series of accidents, due to my lack of precautions. I drop my smart phone on water and got my laptop useless; I lost my door key and groceries while riding on the city bus.
. We used to play in bombed out buildings (there was a war on), and they often used to collapse when we were in them - we were lucky to get out alive.@Hate2Iron (15730)

All the time and I think the stupidest thing I have done as a kid is... Oh! I tried to swing in a hammock while standing at the same time which ended with me getting stitches cause my head hit a copper pipe, hammock was in our basement.

We all do stupid things when we are young. My grandfather had a farm and a hay loft but we were never allowed in the loft. I'm so old now I can't remember the scary things we did as kids but I know we were a bit stupid at times too.

This happened when I was a kid.
While I was resting on my bed trying to sleep, I was playing a coin using my lips. I accidentally swallowed the coin. My parents made me eat a lot of food. I was able to release the coin after eating too much. I consider that stupid because I can't even remember why I was playing a coin using my lips while resting.

We used to swing out on a rope and drop into the water in a gravel pit. The thing was deep and dreadfully cold. At least one kid drown there every summer, but that didn't stop us. They finally ended up fencings it to keep stupid teens out.

It didn't even cross my mind that we were doing something so stupid. We were having the time of our lives lol!
