Are you healthy?

I don't think I am healthy, I guess it's because I am lacking of exercises and I used to sleep really late that have spoiled my health. I feel dizzy and nausea easily. But, whenever I went for medical check up, all the results are positive and I am totally fine. I am thankful for that. My husband went for medical check up yesterday. There are some minor issues with his health, though he doesn't need to take any medications, I think he really needs to watch out his diet and do more exercises as well. I thought he is eating quite healthy at home, but he does go out and have meals with his friends sometimes. I think having balanced diet and adequate exercises are good for us, and also healthy lifestyle as well. Sleep early, and wake up early. As we are no longer young anymore, our organs might get tired as well, we really need to take good care of our body, our health. Are you healthy? Do you have any plan or tips to live healthy? My own picture, taken in year 2012. I wanted to look for a photo that we went for a walk event, and found this. I was holding my son, and my little girl was still in the baby sling. Years ago.

I am a very active person. I have two bicycles, one is a mountain bike and the other is a road bike. I ride to the mountains and steep hills. I ride 35 to 40km at an average speed of 25kmph. I do yoga three times a week. Am i healthy? I don't think so. I believe i don't have a balance diet. I rarely eat vegetables.

@kaka135 I agree. The only form of exercise I can do is walking in the morning. I have been trying to do push ups to trim my belly fats but that one is difficult because I love to read or write more than do an exercise.

Exercise is what all needs to tone down what we are all eating actually . But in addition , we should also eat in moderation and see to it that we don;t eat fatty foods but more on fish , vegetables and fruits . And drink lots of water too . I think in my age , i am healthy . Next week i will have my quarterly laboratory exams for the monitoring of my blood sugar a, cholesterol and others . I hope everything will be in the normal level.

I think I am not really that healthy. I sleep late and wake up early. Due to busy schedule, I sometimes forgot to eat. It is just good that my boyfriend always remind me when it is already meal time.

I used to forget to eat too, that's why I got gastric. Hence I learned to try to eat, or at least drink something to fill up my tummy. Good that you have your boyfriend remind you.

@kaka135 True. My mom does not know how to use a phone and is not patient to study how to use a phone. I remember my father too, he does not know how to use a phone, so both my parents cannot remind me of meal time when I am away. But when I am in the house and I am busy, they will call me nonstop until I stop from what I am doing and go to the dining room to eat. I am lucky I have them. I am quite not conscious when it comes to my health but I am trying to change that habit.

Hi, nice to meet you! I think nowadays some of us do not follow doctors' advice, as we all know some medicines are actually not good for our health. We try to go for natural products or herbs. I think Moringa that you mentioned is good, I have heard about it, but I don't really know it. There are more for me to learn. Hope you will enjoy spending time in mylot too!

I think you have to take better care of yourself, else your children will suffer when you are sick. It is not that tough to get some exercise. I think you can pay more attention to your garden,

It's not that my children will suffer, it's actually me who will be suffering the most. As a mom, she still needs to take care of the children even though she is sick. So, it can be quite suffering without getting good rest. Yes, you are right, that's why I really want to do more exercises and get healthier because of my children. I still want to take care of them until they are old enough to take care of themselves. I used to go to the park everyday with my children to walk for about 2 hours, and sometimes jog on my own for 20 minutes. I think these exercises are good for me, of course, gardening and housework are good too. I will resume these after my baby is born.

I did get a check up last year. I don't normally do, but I went sometime in spring last year because I was going through an unhealthy-phase. I was sick all the time, and I also was not sleeping well. The doctor said I was fine. Although I was not feeling it, he said that I was good. Just to watch what I eat, and put in some exercise once in a while. I went through the same phase again this year. That's why I've gone into this journey of getting healthy. I started running and jogging more than 2 weeks ago. And I've started eating greens since a few days ago. I'm still at the start, but I hope to get there - becoming healthy.

I understand you. I know I am not a healthy person, and I thought there must be something wrong, but every time I went to do check up, I was told I am fine, everything is normal. Now I realized that it's actually nothing seriously wrong with my body, but perhaps my lifestyle. I used to sleep late and lack of exercises. I know these two are killing me or harming my health. (My eating habit is fine) So now, I'd like to sleep early and do more exercises, and I can feel I become healthier than I was younger. Let's do it together - to be healthy!

Aw such a cute photo - in a little it'll be two toddlers and you'll have your 3rd children in the sling. I have had a little problems with my liver due to a medication I was taking (for acne). But it's been clear then it's on-going so I get a check up annually. I need to get in shape though as I'm on the heavier side for my height.

Thanks! Yes, my 3rd baby will be in the sling most of the time, and the other two will be walking by my side, or they will be holding hands, walking together on their own. You mean the medication you took to cure acne cause the liver problem? You don't look like you have acne at all. I used to have quite serious acne issues as well, still have a little bit now, I used to take some medications for awhile, but I was too lazy. I didn't know some medications might be harmful. Good that you are well now. I guess just do more exercises and have balance diet will make us good and fit! I will start doing that after my baby is born. Now, just let me be lazy for awhile more.

I'm pretty healthy for my age, but I don't think it's necessary to sleep early, wake up early. We all have to find the life style that suits us best, and as long as we get the amount of sleep we need, it doesn't matter when we get it.

That's good. Maybe it's different for different people, but it's always said if we sleep late, it'll be harmful for our organs, especially the liver. Well, not necessary to wake up early, but it's advisable to sleep early. For me, I can really feel the difference for sleeping early and late.

We all need reminders that our health will depend on what we eat and do and I have restarted an exercise program last week and so far I am keeping it up. I am also trying to go to bed before midnight and I am struggling with that.

I used to feel less healthy five years ago, but since then, I have been ingesting more fruits and vegetables than red meat. That has given me more healthy feeling and stamina. I usually sleep from 5-6 hours and I get up early, at 6.00 AM and start my daily quest for the day!

I tend to think I'm quite healthy as I go to the gym 3 times a week eat clean e.g : Pasta salads and chicken e.c.t but I do have my days were I get a big greesy takeaway and pig out but don't find it very unhealthy due to burning it all off the next day in the gym.
