Royal lovechild?

Has anyone been following this story, published by New Idea in Australia? There is an adult male in Australia who is convinced that he is the lovechild of Prince Charles and Camilla. It's all very bizarre. Meanwhile, the US magazines have picked up the story and added in their own twist - that because of the existence of this lovechild, the Queen will abdicate next year and Prince William will become King. I suppose as always, time will tell...

Such claims are often made purely because of the media attention that will be generated, along with a financial benefit of selling their story.

@BellaDoc I read, many years ago that if the tabloids were to b believed, Queen Elizabeth had about 60 pregnancies, separated from Prince Philip more times than either of us have fingers...... Anything to try to sell a paper.

I've not heard anything about this, but even if I did, I think that I'd ignore it because it sounds so far-fetched.

@Juliaacv I agree. I think that many people like this person have delusions. True delusions.

Oh, don't you love all these sensationalist stories! I stopped buying New Idea about forty years ago, simply because of stories like that.

The magazines can be filled with rubbish and lies. That said, the "No" Idea does have a pretty good record for revealing some fantastic, true gossip over the years.

Those claims could be proved by a DNA test. Why is that not done I wonder.

I haven't heard this. I mostly read the New Idea six months after publication in my hairdressers. :)
