Do you read the Facebook News Feed? Sometimes it is pretty cool.
Birdwatchers here in Kansas, in Johnson County spotted a Vermillion Flycatcher. This is the area near Kansas City. This bird is usually seen in the southwest United States. Link included.
Of course there is another story I wish I could link to. In Louisville, Nebraska firefighters had to rescue a Great Dane who was stuck in a tree. She weighs 120 lbs and was twenty feet up. My question is "How did she get up there in the first place?" I do not believe I can link to two stories. I guess I could have mad two discussions.

I have one or two friends I occasionally see there and chat with. So then I sometimes have to read the stories.

I have heard of smaller dogs scampering up trees, but I just cannot imagine how a Great Dane would have done so.

I have to admit it , I have never looked at the Facebook news feed but if I am honest, I spend almost no time on Facebook.

ok, I want to know how the great dane got in the tree too now.
think this might be a link to the story
Firefighters were in for a surprise when they responded to a call and found a 120-pound Great Dane stuck in a tree. CNN affiliate KMTV has the story.

That is a link to the story, I will have to check and see if it tells us just how that happened. I could find articles that talked about how they got the dog down, but not how she went up.

I hope none of us lose sleep over the question. I have certain people who only communicate on Facebook.

That item left the news feed and I never did find out. Do you suppose he jumped up after something and got stuck?

@GardenGerty Considering dogs don't normally climb trees, something happened to make him get up there.

@JessicaLynnt posted a link to the story. I have seen pictures of goats in trees and heard of a small dog scampering up a slightly sloped tree, but so far I have not found out how this one got up a tree.
