While it took longer than I would have liked, my experience with my new doctor went well -- I liked her.
First a nurse took me into the hall with the exam rooms and took my weight and my blood pressure and my temperature. Then she left me in an exam room.
Some minutes later, another nurse came in and asked me a bunch of questions.
Then, about fifteen or twenty minutes later, I met the actual doctor. Sheesh. Oh, well.
I got to tell her about the pain in my lower back/hip area that I experience, and that, while it hasn't happened in a while, that sometimes my legs seem to fall asleep when I'm out walking the dog. She told me to keep a kind of "diary" of when this happened and what it felt like.
I liked her, and I was happy with the visit. My next appointment with her is to have a mammogram.
