Maybe I'm dealt the wrong cards

I know they say to pick a deck that speaks to you, that you can understand well. So far I've tried the Native American Tarot, Miss Cleo's Deck, and an animal oracle deck. All of which don't have the connect ability that I want them to.
The problem I keep having is the Minor Arcana, and realizing that they aren't the same way I originally learned like for my Native American deck the blades are the swords and shields are coins. That and I'm big with imagery the cards need to have that feel for me. Most don't.
It's probably not the best to buy decks off of Amazon, because I really can't look at them, and get the feel, but there's like literally no places that sell the cards. So I'm back to square one, in a debate on a new deck, but I also don't want to be a deck collector.

I used to have a lovely set of Fairytale cards. They were really huge, and very colourful. I loved to do readings with them for people who were a bit nervous about the Tarot.
My standard reading decks in those days were the Rider and the Morgan Greer. But I also really liked the Hanson Roberts and the Daughters of the Moon (a round deck.)

There are a ton of online occult shops, many of which have some sort of image gallery for their Tarot decks. I found this one that has all 78 cards for each of the decks they list:
But if you are just learning to read, might I suggest that you start off with a Rider-Waite deck? It's the most basic, and you can even find Waite's book on reading the cards, free online:
