Memories took.me years ago. Waiting for the bus under the shed, my eyes took me to this particular tree, the acacia tree. Can not help.myself not to ask, how old is the tree? And how many are left standing along the high way? These trees has been the sign that i am getting closer to home, for the trees are common sight here in our province. With all the road widening and those store being put.up, well...can not help not to be sentimental over these trees Have you been into deep thinkig and become sentimental?

It's a pity that these grand old trees are being cut down all in the name of progress.

True! Last week, mme and my sister passed by a road undergoing widening. We have seen som trees which are cut down, trees that are big and looks old. My sister can't help but be sad because of that scene.

@Lucky15 Yeah, imagine the benefits that we will lose. It's so convenient to drive on roads with shades.

I love looking at those rows of trees on the side of the road.. I love trees.. I had a difficult time when we had to cut down a beautiful gum tree on the front yard of one of our rental properties ..I am a tree hugger you see ..

It's sad that things we associate with our youth are disappearing.

Yes, I am very contemplative by nature...sometimes to the extent that I must be careful not to get lost in thought or memory...I'm very conscious of where I allow my mind to dwell, especially with sadder memories, to try to keep them in perspective.

i used to enjoy seeing the trees in the middle of edsa, between the south and north-bound lane. they were cut down when they built the mrt. i'm glad that here in my neighborhood there are still plants and trees, and hope it stays that way for many more years.

i've been prone to such most'f my life. aint figured if'n such's a blessin' 'r a curse. i dislike seein' these ol' trees removed, they've a great purpose - shadin' 'n coolin' the streets, providin' a refuge fer the birds 'n then there's the cleaner air they provide.
