Mr. Bean is no doubt a very famous comedy actor. Today I watched a movie called Maigret Sets A Trap starring by Mr. Bean. He acted as a police officer who detected in a murder case. He is quite serious in this movie and I am glad that he can be more than a comedy actor

Mr Bean isn't the name of the actor, but the name of a character he (Rowan Atkinson) plays.
No wonder he can't shake it off.
I thought he did a great job trying NOT to be Mr Bean.

@youless I know what you mean.
To many here he IS Mr Bean too. He was also fantastic as Edmund Blackadder. If you haven't watched Blackadder, then you should. It is loosely based on our British history and has a fabulous cast alongside Rowan Atkinson.

I had seen serious Rowan Atkinson movies but i can't help laughing
cause Mr. Bean is still at the back of my mind, it's like making " The 3 stooges "act seriously when they were still alive

I had heard Rowan Atkinson was playing Maigret and was curious if he was playing it seriously.
