It feels like summer in my neck of the woods!

Yes, finally, sunshine and lots of it. By mid-afternoon yesterday it was close to 80 degrees. I actually went out for the first time in over a week. We went to the Rocky Top Cafe in town and had a prime rib dinner. It wasn't bad, not the best or worst - more middle of the road. But I was out and didn't cough much so it was a good day.
Earlier my husband put the boat in the pond. It had been stored in the workshop over the winter, now it's out where it belongs. It should be even hotter/nicer today, maybe time for some fishing. I just hope my coughing doesn't scare the fish.

It was beautiful here as well, got to 74. My husband and I are taking a little overnight trip to a fishing lake we like on Tuesday will be home late Wednesday.

@fishtiger58 I rember our first vacation in TN - we were at a lake and deiced to try fishing. The southern boy close by kept talking about crappie and we didn't have a clue why he was talking about his bathroom experiences...LOL...now we know better!

@AbbyGreenhill It is so hot that the water in the pool is really warm.
No point soaking in such warm water.
When it rains after a hot day, the rain is warm too.

Glad you got out of the house and didn't cough as much that's good. I been healthy now for 4 weeks and that's a record for me. I'm hoping it stays that way. Feel better soon

It is supposed to be warmer here too, but I think that we are going to have to wait a few hours. Definitely warmer than earlier this week so that's a plus!

Glad that you're feeling better and got out for awhile. It's pretty nice here too and I'm hoping to sit outside this afternoon and enjoy the warmer weather
