One of those days when time stands still.

I took a picture of time.

Did you ever have one of those days when you just did not feel like doing anything? Like you could hardly care less about anything and time just stands still and you accomplish nothing? There is no reason, I don't know why I feel like this. What do you do on days like this? Is there a magic formula to try?

If I nap during the day, I feel like I am doped up for the rest of the day.

This one has been such a day for me. But I guess it has a lot to do with the rain that pounded over my roof for 5 days and the terrible news here and everywhere. I did not want to get up, so I didnĀ“t.

It must be scary with your friends and family in danger. The rain just adds to the gloom and doom. Praying for you and others to be safe.

Reminds me of a song that went something like ... all those times i was wasting time turned out to be the best times of my life. I guess we need to do our chores, only life is not always about being a work a holic?

@akalinus We all have them I think. I wasn't sure what you meant but blah describes some days well. I like chilling out sometimes and having a nothing day. It's on purpose so I can recharge my batteries. Works for me.

@Bluedoll Blah just means blah. It is not that you are sick or depressed or anything like that. It is just blah for no particular reason. And, I hate that.

Not every day turns blah for me. It just seems some days are not salvageable no matter what you do. Yesterday was one of those days for me.

Sometimes, and when that happens, I'm so thrilled. I just read a good book!

I was not in the mood to read, which is unusual for me. I love to read most of the time.

Strange thing is that I generally feel like that when I have something that HAS to get done ASAP! lol That's when I sit and stare off into space and just feel like doing nothing. :) And on days like today when I have all the time in the world, I find so many little jobs to do! :D

I must do my blog. The idea is churning in my mind. Maybe it needs a little more time.

@akalinus I've had a couple of really good blogs in the past and these days I'd love to start a new one, but I'm not sure what to write about. Once I get fully back into knitting and making jewelry, that will be easy! :)

I do experience days like this and for me I like them. We are usually on the go or I am working so these days I call my "lazy, pj wearing, not leaving the house unless it's an emergency day". If I experience them a couple days in a row I will go for a long walk or do a hobby I like and it seems to help me. Have a blessed day

Sometimes, you just need to veg out and not do anything in particular. I don't like the feeling though.

Those could be the days when rest is needed. The body lets us know. It's best to take those days as take it easy days.

I do feel very tired. There are a lot of things I should be doing, but I am just sitting here.

I definitely feel this way since I broke up with my ex-partner. I am still on the process of moving on. It a sign of depression that I can't do anything just thinking about relationship failure. It wasn't my fault in the first place, a victim of being cheated by a person whom I loved so dearly.

I have started to write a poem about time standing still on a normal everyday mundane day.

@akalinus I had the idea some time last week and have been slowly writing it. Don't know where it will all go.

Sometimes, I think it might be the atmosphere or sun flares or something. There seems to be epidemics of the blahs some days.

Maybe it's best to just go with the flow or try to find something that you do like to do. Hope your get-up-and-go returns soon.

I used to have a lot of lazy days when I was still young (or younger, I guess). But now that I have a family to think of I can't just eat in front of the TV and have a movie marathon all day. It's been years since I just relaxed at home. There's always something to do at home now.
