There are lots of antivirus available in the market but we need to be smart to choose which antivirus would be appropriate for one's system. Among the popular antivirus , quick heal ,norton, mcafee, k7 , kaspersky are the big names. However in india Quick Heal is famous and i prefer everyone using it because i personally find it very useful and it really works great.

I use the one installed at the date of purchase; afterwards, I reuse it by reinstalling the system from scratch. Or I may use my laptop without antivirus until I notice that it is acting strange. I may also use any of those free antiviruses that you find online.

I've used Norton and McAffee but find they slow things down a lot. On the higher RAM machines they'd be ok but on this thing they'd be terrible so on netbooks and tablets I use AVG and Malwarebytes anti malware.
