A burst of motivation

Motivation to tackle more than just the routine household chores is rare and generally fleeting.
Today I felt a burst of that motivation and got down to work. The playpen that has been in my room for a good portion of the last 2 years, has been packed up, and a small dresser took it's place. The dresser needed some minor tweaking as a nail was catching on the bottom drawer and needed to be pushed back in.
Now what to put in that dresser? A few other of my drawers were cleaned out and things rearranged. Some things tossed and a few are being passed on to others.
My beautiful quilt has also been packed up and stored for the summer.
Boy do I ever feel accomplished. I am hoping for some more motivation and energy tomorrow, as I have a few more things I would like to get done.

Now that the weather is better, I find motivation to do these extra things happens more often. The winter I feel like curling up and hibernating.

The springlike weather will often bring out a frenzy of ambition. I helped move a good chunk of tee yesterday. Oh, was I tired.

Seeing things get accomplished and seeing the progress is motivating in and of itself.
