Special stamp on its way to me. / myLot

I am super excited that John was able to get me Queen Elizabeth II commemorative stamps which is a priceless gesture for one to do when they don't even know you. I shall be watching for the post box daily in a week or two and I am sure my post will be the envy down at the Postoffice for such stunning stamps on their way. @ison1 I just had to share my good fortune with friends. Soooooo excited.

I like collecting stamps. But then, I stopped doing it since high school days. I am sure it is a worth of treasure.

I stopped collecting too and I have quite regretted it. Stamps are wonderfully designed and each new issue has a story behind it.

Just make sure you put it somewhere safe. You don't want a family member, desperately searching for a stamp, using it to post their application form for a Reader's Digest subscription (does that still exist).

yes the Reader's Digest Subscriptions do still exist - they got me through all my tasks at school. I stopped the subscription about two years ago
