21 April 2016: Update

It has been quite a day. I was actually looking forward to it, as it was a day off with J, and pleasing to my Anglophile heart, HM The Queen's birthday, god bless her. But we flipped over to CNN a little bit ago, and found out about Prince. My god, another great one gone this year -- David Bowie, Keith Emerson, and now Prince. He was certainly the sound of the 80's, and I remember his work with great pleasure. Other news... Monday was the last of the procedures, this time an endoscopy. Felt dreadful once it was over, throat hurting and sounding hoarse, and exhausted. This time, they took samples, which bothers me a lot. Today has been the first day that I have really felt like myself. Reading more, and must really be cranking out some reviews here.

I can't even remember how many endoscopies I have had in the last 20 years. A pain in the neck, aren't they?

@marlina yes they are! I felt so worn out by the end of it, all I wanted to do was crawl into bed and stay there!

Glad to hear that you are feeling a little better. I was also pretty shocked at the news about Prince; he is so young! What a sad year this is turning out to be.

Got the news about Prince a few hours ago. It feels weird. The way he dances so much you figured he must be very healthy. Life is a vapor.
