Today there is another gray day here. It is difficult to type in spite of my new keyboard.
I am so happy I bought my new keyboard, friends! I did not throw away the old one as is was good. Its only problem was that the letters were erased.
One of these days I will buy a new white marker (the old one was not good anymore) and will write letters over them.
Then, when the letters are dry, I will paint them with transparent nail polish.
Although keyboards are not expensive, there is no reason to throw away something that can be used.
Don´t you think?

If ever the letters fade on my keyboard I will do the same. Mine is a laptop and I wouldn't be able to replace the keyboard. We live in a society that throws out perfectly good items so that we can have the newer and more improved models. We need to live more like our ancestors and use what we have.

@hereandthere I agree. It happened to me with an almost perfectly wonderful washing machine. I had to give it away.

I feel ashamed to throw away things that can be recycled, specially these plastic thinggies.

i use a desktop pc. i can touch type, but i can't remember the symbols above the numbers like $, %, & as well as the ones on the right of P, L and M. i think the transparent nail polish is a good idea.
