Have tried to keep up with the social media evolution / revolution. But in some instances, I missed the bus! Sonia Colon is a fellow home biz entrepreneur. Have been following her blog for years. She supplies great business tips and advice. Link below is to one of her posts and it got me thinking. - Do you use Instagram to market your business (blog, etc,)? - If you are on Instagram, why are you there? Instagram came and left me behind. Why? No mobile phone. When I tried to sign up for Instagram, they requested a cell phone number. Since I don't use a mobile to conduct my home business endeavors, no number could be provided. That's my excuse. What's yours? Are you on Instagram?
So the question remains, are you using Instagram to market your business? Check out how you can below:

@miniam - Facebook doesn't ban you if you screw up your own account because you didn't know you were doing. Guilty! But they will try to block you if you make it a habit of harassing and stalking people and causing trouble like that. I am very glad they do! It's a global network that can connect people and erase the boundary lines between us. Nobody should be made to feel unhappy or unsafe or threatened. Good luck!

@cmoneyspinner This is really encouraging! There are so many social media out there, and I think joining BlogJob will help me to learn more. So, I might be able to learn more about marketing our own business soon too.

I don't have a cellphone either but then I don't really have a business to promote.

Stopped being active on Instagram because other work-at-home projects were earning me income. Also, I really think I need a mobile device to get the most out of Instagram. I'll have to work on that. But it's not a top priority.

I didn't know we need to link Instagram to our cell phone number, and I didn't know it's good for marketing our business as well. I thought it's just a photo sharing site, I am not so interested in photo sharing and I don't have a mobile phone that can capture good images. I'd like to check out instagram more, and thanks for sharing about Sonia Colon. I do not know about her, but I'd like to find out more.

Sonia is a savvy Latina business woman and she has more than one blog and other home business projects. But the link I shared to that particular blog is where you can find some really good tips.

I have an instagram but I haven't been active on it. I had my online business last year but I did not use instagram because I do not have much followers there. I just used my facebook to promote the products I see. Those social networking sites are really a great help if you want to promote something online.

@cmoneyspinner I have noticed some business owners also have a blog of their own to promote their products. A friend of mine even signed up on Amazon and Ebay.

Yes. Social networks are a good way to promote. That's why I was going to check out Instagram. But oh well! Can't be on every social network.
