My Grateful Post

A new day is getting started here. It's just after midnight. I didn't have a lot of notifications today - just 74 when I started this morning, but the computer just doesn't like working lately, so it took all day to take care of those 74 plus any others that came in along the way.
So despite the computer working against me, I have plenty to be grateful about.
First, I'm grateful for the beautiful day God gave me. It was a milestone day for me today. Thirty-six years ago, April 22, 1980, I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and Lord. It has been a wonderful journey of faith and love as I grew more in knowing how much God loves me every day.
Second, the day was beautiful. It wasn't too warm or too cold - it was just right - 50's today. I didn't even wear a jacket as I left to do some shopping. It was paper buying day - TP, paper towels, paper plates, and tissues being the things highest on my shopping agenda. I got a couple items of food, not much though as I did that shopping a few days ago.
Third, I got a nap. I didn't realize how tired I was, especially since I got 7.5 hours of sleep. Though I suppose the headache I woke with had something to do with my being tired and got an additional 2.5 hours of sleep. It was great.
Fourth, I got to spend time with you when the computer allowed me to. It's my favorite part of the day. I have all the notifications done now, and being close to 1 AM I'm going to close out the site until tomorrow and work on Scarred for a little bit so I can send more chapters to the person helping me with this edit.
So those are the things I'm grateful for today. What are you grateful for?

@just4him sure they do. I don't want to leave my son at a very young of 12. I lost both of my parents at the age of 13.

Nice post. Listing what you are grareful for makes you look life in a possitive perspective. Well, i am grateful of this chance to live, for having a house under my head, and for having a job that enable me to provide for my kid's needs. There are lots of things to be thankful for. And acknowledging it makes us realize and understand how blessed we are.. Great day to you.

Those are all things to be grateful for. There are so many in this world who don't have these basic needs.

I never get tired of participating in post like this. I am glad to share with your sense of gratitude. I also believe that we can find true peace and happiness once we accepted God to enter our life. I thank all people that became an instrument for me to realize such treasure. I am also grateful for this day, another day that I have given another life and another opportunity to spend my life with my family and all loved ones. I am happy for my sister that is going to get married soon.I am thankful for my food, for all blessings and for those which are to come in the future.
