Title says it all... what's for lunch? After having a peanut butter and jelly sandwich earlier I decided to embark on the next important question, what's for lunch? It is past eleven here in the Philippines so it is time for lunch... in an hour or so.
Just to put it out there, people in the Philippines eat at certain times. Morning is to breakfast, afternoon is to lunch , and evening is to dinner. Really??? Just thought that I'll eat when I'm hungry regardless of the time. Must be because I get up so early that I eat breakfast so early that by the time, it is only ten in the morning, I'm hungry and instead of grabbing a snack, I go ahead and have a meal, still healthy of course, bigger than a snack but lighter than lunch. Not sure if that makes sense but hey, it is what it is.
Anyway, I'l be having a Nutrimeal shake, a medium sized apple dipped in iodized salt, and a couple of chunky chocolate chip cookies, again dipped in iodized salt for lunch. The Nutrimeal shake fills me and provides vitamins and nutrients. Apple and chocolate chip cookies dipped in salt is kinda weird but, and I bet you didn't know this until now, the sweetness is further 'amplified' (I know the word 'amplified' is more appropriate for sounds but, really, you're going to play the dictionary police on me now?) by the saltiness of the salt. LOL ... saltiness of the salt sounds even more weird!!! Yeah, you can go all dictionary police on me now!!! LOL!
So, yeah, back to the topic, what's for lunch today?

I love salt. I'm still in the office. Have no idea what's for lunch yet. I'll know the moment I enter the house.

Sounds like a good lunch. I also just eat when I amhungry, not at specific times. It is 0146 am right now and I am getting up and going to work but I think I am going to eat out today at subway or something. Hope you are having a good day!

@hereandthere deprivation is the doorway to frustration.

I don't take too much salt. Like what I said, everything in moderation.

I've not heard of dipping either of those items in salt. I've heard of radishes, cucucmbers, and then just all around shaking in some to your cooking.

The chocolate flavor one tastes fine. The vanilla flavored one, I can't stand.
