Do your hands get itchy?

I remember an old saying that if your palms get itchy, it means you're coming into money. How I wish that was the case with my hands. But it's not really so. My hands have been getting more and more itchy over the last few months. I didn't realize it right away, until one day I noticed that I was scratching my hands raw. And then I began paying close attention. And I realized what's going on. My hands are very, very dry for the first time in my life. I found a hand repair cream by Burt's Bees that I've been using for a few days now and it's beginning to help. It smells pretty awful when I first apply it. It's very thick, too. But it gets absorbed into my skin very quickly and the smell dissipates fast. And the itchiness is beginning to go. And that's making me very happy. But it's made me realize that as my body ages, it's drying out, so I'm checking out body lotions to see which ones will work on all of my skin to help so I don't have similar problems to my hands. It's not fun going through this, but at least I've noticed so I can do something about it! Have you gone through any of this? What products have you found to be the best for you?
