Unpleasant Surprises

I think that most everyone enjoys a pleasant surprise but never an unpleasant one. Well yesterday I was catching up on things as I always do on the weekend. I had mentioned that I was participating in the April Poetry Challenge and so I had two poems ready to be posted and I was happy that I was managing to keep up. I went to make lunch and came back so happy and ready to get on here and see what everyone is up to and then do my postings. I sat down at my PC and suddenly saw that the letters qwer on the left side and the letters uiop on the right side were not working. Can you imagine what an unpleasant surprise that was for me? Now I had no way of working on my PC. My hubby tried various things and then had to admit he was stumped. Meanwhile I could just imagine myself falling farther and farther behind until there was no way I would ever catch up.
So what am I working on today? Well we were given an old PC that works but all of my needed photos and other written work are in my usual PC. I was using this PC to listen to music on YouTube and watch movies while I worked on the other computer. Since today there might not be a way to fix the keyboard I had to print out from my PC all of the things I wanted to post including all of the poems (I have to post three poems today on Wordpress just to catch up) as well as work for my other blogs. So here I am on the computer that has become my saving grace rewriting all of the work I printed out from the other one and with heavy heart I must say that if it continues this way all week I am in for a very tough time.
Does anyone have an extra keyboard they can send me Federal Express? It must have a wire with a flat end to plug in to my PC because it is an old revamped model. LOL

I hope you get one soon. I only have one and they wear out about every two years.

I think we have two old keyboards somewhere but I don't know about a wire with a flat end. How disappointing for you.

@JudyEv it's alright now. Yesterday my hubby's daughter came to the rescue with an extra keyboard that is just right.

@RasmaSandra How fortunate was that! That is good news.
