I Want Crazy Shield Maiden Hair

If you have watched Vikings on the History Channel, you already know exactly what I am talking about. Lagertha, shield maiden and first wife of Ragnar Lothbrok kicks some serious butt in the show, and she has some rockin' Viking hair.
I have added a few braids into my long hair today, but I think I need some practice before I can achieve this look.

I think that Lagertha is a strong female character, and I think it is wonderful to see females portrayed in this way. She is just as formidable on the battle field as any of the guys, and she is well-respected by most.

@norcal I do not consider Aslaug as strong ... manipulative and conniving but not strong. Judith is strong to a point, but she is still subservient in many ways. Siggy and Princess Gisla I will agree are strong as is Queen Kwenthrith. However, Lagertha is by far the strongest and most powerful one.

I've never seen the show. Unless it's Nazi week, I pretty much only watch Modern Marvels. I'll have to try to check this out.
