My home city is noted for its quirky eccentric humour so seeing a statue of a giant sweeping brush on a pedestal is no real surprise to us. Many consider such art a waste of time and expense given so many famous people have never received a monument but I like the offbeat casual style with which art like this adorns our fair city. They do this in Downtown Colorado Springs each year, each sculpture for sale, but it's like a big outdoor gallery, probably the same as you. I like to walk around and check it all out.
