This bird is known as the water fowl which is only seen around this part of the year. I have yet to see it this time and I am sure it will turn up any time.
Water fowls are lonely souls. They do not mix. The only reason why they visit our garden is to have a dip in the bird bath. It is a joy to see this one having a great time. They are timid and run off when they see anyone. It has not been easy to click videos and images of this timid bird.

I only see them coming here and using the bird bath and that's it. They will climb a high tree and chirp there.

It is tapered to cater to those tiny tots and even crows. These tiny tots will only play in the water near the border. They know they will drown if they go deeper - smart I say

The birdbath should be tapered so that the tiny ones can also frolic. There should be a tree nearby so that they can fly up there after their bath where they do their preening of feathers.
