It's Happened Again!

Every time I find a series that I really like... it gets cancelled. I was getting so excited about the return of Blood and Oil this spring and then hubby informed me that he had heard that it had been cancelled. No one asked me if I was looking forward to it's return. I watched every episode! Okay, maybe I have a bit of a crush of Don Johnson, but hey... every girl can fantasize lol! Did anyone else watch the show other than me? Hate to break the bubble if you loved the show, but it's not coming back! :( What does it take to keep shows on the networks anymore??

You would wonder what the criteria is for axing shows, wouldn't you? I guess ratings start to drop or something.

I felt the same way when they canclled King of Queens some years back, was always looking forward to watching then out of nowhere they introduced some rubbish.

I've never even heard of Blood and Oil. There are a few TV series that I hated to see end, but also there are some that I thought went on way too long and I ended up getting bored with them.

That is true... they are really interesting for the first couple of seasons and then they run out of idea and they bore up to tears!!

I'm so sorry to hear that. There will be more series to come. Just don't show extra appreciation or it will be cancelled again.
