What Are You Thinking About Right Now?

I’m sitting here at my computer and thinking that I should go to bed, because I have to get up VERY early in the morning. It’s almost midnight, so the most sleep I will probably get, if I go to bed right now is about 6 hours. Maybe I can take a nap tomorrow and catch up.
I have company coming on Friday evening for dinner and cards. We like to play SPADES. It’s one of my favorite card games, although I play many different card games. More than most people, I think. My favorite card game is Bridge, but I have no one here that knows how to play Bridge.
I also play Canasta and several different games of Poker and Rummy. And I can play Hearts and Set-Back and even Rook. I also play Seven-Up, also known as Fantan. And I play Casino.
Do you play any card games? And what is your favorite?

Yes, I love playing poker, although we play with poker chips and I like several different games of solitaire.

I used to play euchre, but haven't played it for a long time. I don't know anyone who knows how to play it.

@IreneVincent While we were in Denmark (Western Australia) we played rummy and gin rummy with our friends and another easy card game called 7s. It's good fun isn't it?

To tell you the truth I am thinking something very similar, because I have to get up very early too. I know if I try to go to bed too early though, I won't sleep. I think I will lie down though and watch my kindle for while.

Well, it's 7AM. I just took my grandson to high school. I have my great grandson here again today, but he will be going home sometime today. It's raining.

I am just thinking about my day tomorrow as well, nothing too exciting going on tomorrow, though!
Also, I do not usually play card games, have not really played any for quite a while. When I was a child, I really enjoyed Go Fish and War, simple, yet fairly fun games. If I were to play a card game at the casino or with people for fun, I would probably go with Blackjack, always enjoyed that!

Blackjack is not a game that I play, although I know how to play it. In a casino, the odds are always against the players, I think.

Yes, my grandchildren play "Memory" where all the cards up upside down and you have to try to remember where they are and match them up.

No, I do not play card games. My mom did not allow us to play cards because for her it is a kind of gamble and not good to be considered as a leisure.
