A few years back, I was in California to take care of my dad who was very sick. At this time I decided to create a poetry blog called The Gateless Passage. I wanted my grandchildren to put their writing talents to good use and create something they could look back on.
I joined several poetry sites to share the poetry that I wrote and the grandkids wrote. It was amazing how many responses I received on the submissions I entered. One site is called DVerse. Every Tuesday they have an open poet’s night where you can link one of your poems to the site.
Today in an email from Hyde Park Poetry they invited all of their poets and anyone who writes poetry to submit a poem based on the theme of Nutrition. They will choose between 100 to 300 entries to publish in their book. This is a fantastic opportunity to have one of your poems published. If you’re interested in writing a poem, please follow this link: http://promisingpoetsparkinglot.blogspot.com/2016/03/a-fabulus-inquiry-on-nutrition-fitbit.html
I know the site has a lot of talented poets here and this is an excellent change for all of you to be published for the first time. I hope to see you there. Furthermore, I think that Jessa Lyn, Wendy, JJ, and many others who participate in the poetry challenges of Jessa Lyn. I have missed a lot of them and did enjoy the ones I had done. I’m looking forward to doing a few more soon.

Yes, we do. I think anyone and everyone who loves to write poetry should look into entering a piece here. I'm considering this one and think it is a wonder chance to be published. Even if it's in a book for another person it's still a great opportunity for everyone.

I think everyone who writes good poems should do that.

I couldn't agree with you more. I have entered a lot of the poetry challenges and they are fun. You get a chance to be creative and write about different topics.

I will need to check that out, as I have written some poems.
