To Fart or Not To Fart? / myLot

Ever since I was younger I have always been embarrassed about passing gas in front of ANYONE. I have always taken myself to the bathroom if I had to. Public bathrooms were the only exception because if someone else was in there then I had to hold it in for however long until I was home. It wasn't until I found my fiance and we got very close that I didn't feel as embarrassed to pass gas in front of him. Just him though, I can't do it in front of anyone else. If anyone else farts in front of me I don't care because I know farting is natural and everyone does it. I just can't seem to do that for myself lol. Are you embarrassed to fart or do you fart freely whenever, whereever?

Around the guys while playing softball, fine. Hiking with an old friend, fine. But in front of a class, or at a party where I don't know everyone well, I'd be a tad mortified. That said, farting is one of my great joys.
