A while back I read a report that said if you own a Cadillac Escalade, Jeep Cherokee or Infiniti Q50 your car could easily be hacked into but the most being hacked are the 2014 models of the Infiniti Q50 and Jeep Cherokee and the 2015 model of the Cadillac Escalade. Also high on the list are the 2010 and 2014 Toyota Prius. Why were safety precautions not put in place. The good news is the least hackable are 2014 Dodge Viper, the 2014 Audi A8,2014 Honda Accord and 1996 Ford Ranger (or any other older vehicle.)

Oh, ok @Marcyaz I'm guessing making a car of any kind theft proof will never work 100%, as they say, where there's a will there's a way and that includes thieves.

@Marcyaz I agree with what you said. Shouldn't have been designed in a way that would make it easy for others to get in to.

Why do hackers do it? To put the rider in danger? I just remember that one of the noted car brands in our country was reported to be hacked and it caused the vehicle to accelerate even it was parked smashing vehicles near it. I heard they corrected its computer system already.

That is terrible and I hope no one was injured. I will never understand the thinking behind this.

How do you mean, hacked? Do you mean someone taking over the computer part of the car?

It is scary to think that any car could be hacked, isn't it? A new way to assassinate people?
