Everything is okay, until it goes faster.
My 16-year old niece asked.me yeaterday if we can ride the.ferris wheel in the town park. I said yes.
The park got few people, and the ferris is not in operation since there.is no one there, but we tried asking if we can take a ride and we did for 25 pesos or $.40.
We waited for more but then, only three young men dared to join us.
It was fun at first, but when the wheel moves faster and felt bit shaky, i was like...how long is that ride? Felt like 30 minutes.
I took a video of it, and uploaded it on my IG. Haha.
Well, i am not sure if i will be doing it again. Hahaha.
Have you ever get into ferris wheel? Or any ride in a carnival?

I have ridden those and they are pretty tame compared to the Tilt A Whirls and roller coasters. But when the wheel stops and sways at the top while others are picked up, it is a little scary. The Ferris wheel was invented by an American named George Ferris, Jr. I found that out when I wrote about Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

I used to love them as a kid, but last year a friend of mine persuaded me to go on the big dipper with her as she didn't want to go on alone. Oh dear - it made me feel really queasy, and I can say with certainlty that I will not be repeating the experience.
Sounds as if you might not be going on the Ferris wheel again, either.

Yes, love the ferris wheel since childhood, and some of the other rides that come alongwith in the carnivals.

@Lucky15 There is a metal bar that snaps into place but that is all, no safety belts.

@BelleStarr the bar that we have is one foot away from our body... so we have to hold that one

I am not into rides. I had only tried riding the caterpillar when I was a small kid. I don't like the ferris wheel in country fairs. Hihihi
Maybe I can ride the ferris wheel at the seaside in MOA.

I have done those mad things when I was a bit younger. We have here what they call giant wheel. We do get that sinking feeling in the stomach but quite safe.

Yes, I rode a ferris wheel when I was 10 years old and when we were at the top, I shouted to stop, please stop. I can't bear the fast moving and shaking movements, I felt my stomach was not fine so the operator stop the machine. From that on, I never ride it again.

I rode it when I was still a child and had a nice time; but I don't want that swing-like ride that made me so dizzy and scared.
