Friend Is Not Giving Up

I told you about my friend who is determined to find love on the internet! I will her this. She's not going to go down without a fight!
The last man that I warned her about ended up asking her for $8000 dollars. Can you even imagine and when she turned him down... nicely for that matter, he was furious with her! He claimed that she didn't trust him... well yeah! He did try to make up with her a few days later saying that he was out of line asking her for all that money, and begged her forgiveness.
That is when he said that if she could find it in her heart to spot him $3000, he would pay her back with interest the minute he got collected on a debt that I friend owed him!
Thank heavens she turned him down and told him never to contact her again. She was so close to giving in. She actually was beginning to think that she had been too hard on him.
I hope that this is the last time I have to pull her back in before she empties her bank account. Do these guys have no scruples??

@Hate2Iron well my sister met her husband online but I guess, your friend really have to be cautious because not everyone can be trusted online or offline.

If it is seen logically then it is more of a mistake of your friend more than that guy who is definitely a cheater...(no offends)
Because if we know about that person then we should never think of doing a thing like money transfer etc....
And yeah you are right that these his are with no scruples....

I told her that my husband and I lived together for a year before we got married and each payed his own way. I wouldn't have dreamed of asking him for money and he felt the same way. It was the perfect way to see each others thoughts on money before we got married!

Oh my gosh, your poor friend! She needs more of a back bone so I'm really glad your telling her not to do these things. Some people just prey on good hearted souls and that is terrible.

Sadly there is a lot of people that will try to scam you that way! I will not say that you can not find love online because you can but you have to be careful and I hope for your friends sake that she is careful and does not give into the ones just wanting her money or anything else!
