Do You Worry When Your Son/Daughter is Out?

My son and his cousins had a night of celebration because some of them finished college while some passed the Board Exams for Engineers. They had a sleep over at my sister's house and had some light drinking too. We allowed them to drink because they are already college graduates, but I reminded my son not to drink so much for health reasons. Though they were in my sister's home, I also worry and think that nothing unlikely can ruin their celebration. Do you also worry when your son/daughter has a night out with friends?

Yes, I worry a lot when my son/sons goes out at night with friends especially when they came home late because we never know their safety and I think there's no safe place now.

Truly, it's a concern of every parent, to be secured that their child is safe when out.

i guess its natural for parents to worry about their children especially if theyre out drinking. i worry when my eldest nephew is not yet home by 10 but im used to it and i know he's with cousins in our neighborhood.

Yes, we are contented when we know they are in a safe place and with nice friends with them.

Well as of now my daugther is only 10 months old. She could not go out on her own yet. But i dread the day that she will go out with hee friends alone when she grows up.

Well, in the future you will feel the way we older parents feel about it. For now, don't worry, your child is still a baby! ha ha ha!

I don't have my own kids as of yet. But I do often worry about nephew and niece every now and then due to some social issues around. I think I'd be even more worried in future with the things that are around.

I agree, there are so many things happening around. It makes us paranoid that it could happen to our loved ones, that's why we are being over protective of them.

My daughter is 20 years old and they went outing to the beach with her friends for 3 days. Well, I never worry for I knew she was in good hands. I just prayed hard for her safety.
