In many countries, including mine, tomorrow it is celebrated the International Workers' Day.
Although it has its roots in Socialism, mostly it is a holiday for workers.
Where I live the stores close and the public transportation does not work.
There are speeches in the Unions and the government also gives one.
Most of the people where I live prefer to stay at home as there are always some hot heads who want to cause problems
How is it where you live?

@marguicha Yes, we do. Banks and Post offices close, but hospitals never close, so I usually have to work.

@marguicha Yes, it is an official holiday, but there are no speeches in the Unions. All the European countries celebrate the Labor Day.

We don't have that holiday in the USA, but in September we have labor day which I think is essentially the same thing
