Don't be in any hurry to get paid from myLot

Yes, it is true today is the last day of this payment period.
Yes, it is true the last payment was made April 1st.
But the Earning FAQ page says you will get paid 'on or before the 15th'.
For the record, payments have been made on these dates:
September 2015 - 10th
October 2015 - 2nd
November 2015 - 6th
December 2015 - 10th
January 2016 - 7th
February 2016 - 12th
March 2016 - 10th
April 2016 - 1st
mylot does NOT pay on weekends (or never has in the past 10 years) so don't expect to wake up tomorrow and find payment.
It does not work that way.
Instead, you will get paid on or before the 15th of May (actually before the 13th, since the 14th & 15th fall on a weekend).
Just a head's up...

Oh darn, and I wanted to buy a gallon of milk. LOL.
I am not worried about the payment. I have decided to stash the money away and use it for gifts. Of course I don't expect to have a substantial amount at the end of the year. But, every little bit helps.

@JolietJake Are those people who just climbed on board in March or April?

@TheHorse So far, in other months I had seen it from people that should know better, and issuing payment on the 1st last month doesn't help clarify it to some people.

Just trying to get a step ahead of all the 'How come I didn't get my money yet?' discussions that usually appear on the 1st of each month

@JolietJake I would have found that very amusing, although I expect that I would have been alone in that opinion.

@Asylum With the lowered payment threshold and all the new users, it could have got ugly...

I almost thought it might have been an April Fool's joke, although it would have been in bad taste

I wasn't aware that there was so much play in the dates they paid. Is that a departure from the way it was in the past? I really don't have a problem with when they pay, I'm just trying to make sure I have enough in the kitty to qualify for the payment. I think this trial the last two months of paying out on a smaller minimum has helped some of us be more active. I know getting a deposit last month has inspired me to try for it again this month. Maybe they will keep doing it continually if their stats shows that discussions increased over these two months.
At any rate they pay more timely than the some of the companies I do mystery shopping for. Some of them will take up to two months after the last day of the month the shop was completed in to pay you for your work.

@akalinus Yes, it was for me as well. When I was on here before I was also working and taking care of a family so it was hard for me to reach payout. I think I only reached it a few times in the five years I was a member before they went under. When they started back up last year I was not in the best of health. In fact I had been ill continuously for about two years. As a result I was very weak (still am) and had very little ambition. I thought I could really rack up since I was in bed most of the day anyway why not be on the computer? Right? But I just couldn't muster up the ambition. Things are beginning to look a little better right now though. Although I am not much stronger I am getting to the point that I want to do something. So this is one thing I can do.

Yep, payment has always been like that, even previous to 2013.

I am not waiting for this payment to survive. As long as they pay before the begining of July, everything is alright with me.

I'm just wondering why the earnings counter in the upper right corner hasn't changed since last night. Are we still earning, or is that frozen until payday? It's so motivating to see that amount move. Does it start counting again after we get paid? Or before? I've no doubt that payments will arrive. The always have before.

People should realize no matter the date, payment always happens on a work day, not a weekend.

I' m one up on @ElusiveButterfly. I don't care when it shows up, I know it will when mylot is ready...and my money sits in my paypal until I want to send money to a Charity (usually when friends/relatives are running a race for a charity and need support with money...)

Yes, the cut-off was almost 7 hours ago, now we simply wait to be paid, which can be any time up until the 15th.

Thanks for the update. I sure wish myLot would continue with the $1.00 payout. For me, it was a good incentive for posting more.
