Don't be in any hurry to get paid from myLot

Oh darn, and I wanted to buy a gallon of milk. LOL. I am not worried about the payment. I have decided to stash the money away and use it for gifts. Of course I don't expect to have a substantial amount at the end of the year. But, every little bit helps.

I never really think about it until it happens. This isn't like Bubblews, where one always wondered if they'd get paid at all.

I don't care when money shows up, just that it shows up. Okay, that's not true. I care when most money shows up. Just not mylot money. I'm thankful for it, but I'm not depending on it.

There will no doubt be lots of posts now about 'when will we be paid'. I won't be reading them.

I'm happy whenever it comes.

The April payment was definitely an unexpected exception to the rule.

hi jj thanks for headsup I bet it willbe close to the tenth as thats when my /SSI c heck comes and often mylot has paid on the same day. but if it comes earlier fine too.I dd know that they never paid on the week end.

I wasn't aware that there was so much play in the dates they paid. Is that a departure from the way it was in the past? I really don't have a problem with when they pay, I'm just trying to make sure I have enough in the kitty to qualify for the payment. I think this trial the last two months of paying out on a smaller minimum has helped some of us be more active. I know getting a deposit last month has inspired me to try for it again this month. Maybe they will keep doing it continually if their stats shows that discussions increased over these two months. At any rate they pay more timely than the some of the companies I do mystery shopping for. Some of them will take up to two months after the last day of the month the shop was completed in to pay you for your work.

I am not waiting for this payment to survive. As long as they pay before the begining of July, everything is alright with me.

I'm just wondering why the earnings counter in the upper right corner hasn't changed since last night. Are we still earning, or is that frozen until payday? It's so motivating to see that amount move. Does it start counting again after we get paid? Or before? I've no doubt that payments will arrive. The always have before.

If payments happened on the 1st last month. We really shouldn't expect it to happen again. I believe that was a one time thing. A little is better than none. Still thankful for the payment when it comes.

I' m one up on @ElusiveButterfly. I don't care when it shows up, I know it will when mylot is ready...and my money sits in my paypal until I want to send money to a Charity (usually when friends/relatives are running a race for a charity and need support with money...)

Mine shows the $sign which I thought meant payment. I checked and it isn't paid yet. I'm not worried about it because I was paid last month. It is not like Bubblews.

but the cut-off period is the end of the month, am i right? and we get paid before the 15th of the month

Thanks for the update. I sure wish myLot would continue with the $1.00 payout. For me, it was a good incentive for posting more.
