Democracy Does Not Work In The Middle East! / myLot

Democracy does not work in Muslim countries. Democracy works only in Christian countries. Democracy does not work in a backward civilization. What works in a backward civilization is dictatorship, where a strong man like the late Sadam and Khadafy rule. There was no ISIS during their rule. America is making a mistake striving to democratize the middle east! Am I right or wrong?

Too tough to call. I understand where you're coming from. But what if you put a good person leading any of those countries---those two were murderers.

If you put good person leading those countries, the bad eggs like ISIS shall grow like mushrooms. Only strong dictators could stop evil groups like ISIS.

Well, ISIS was there during their time, it was even used by the American govt to topple down Saddam, Supplied weapons to them and even trained them to infiltrate the govt. They were a small organization back then.

@antonbunot yeah.. Well not all plans go they way we want.. Same with the govt it just is sad because the US is suppose to create a whole new era of better govt in the middle East but they used the wrong people to do that so now a lot are suffering..
