My childhood was like an amazing roller coaster.I have been give the chance to explore as much as I can and while playing outside,I have fallen ample amount of times and had run even faster than before and have enjoyed it.I have played in the mud and had done what not adventures during my childhood.Lately I was looking at my certificates which I have got when I was a kid and I felt happy to see them and I feel blessed to have such a childhood.
Nowadays these outdoor activities have been replaced by the technology and today's generation hardly prefer to play outside than playing using the tablets and laptops.Recently while travelling,I saw a small girl playing some game on the mobile for almost an hour and a small boy listening to songs with the earphones in his ears.I wonder how much this affects their well being and health.
Somewhere the overall development of today's youth is getting affected.
What do you feel about this?

@cherigucchi They are also very lazy to keep the house clean.
When their children come back dirty and dusty, the house will get dirty too.
They will have to take more time to clean the house.

That is a good point to consider. Some parents are too much afraid of the dangers outside.

I couldn't imagine being like kids now a days infront of TV, or computers all day long. They have never explored, or have any work ethic.

@shubhu3 No, they do not. I seea lot of friends kids and shake my head. Usually throughout the summer I am outside, and camping. Some of these kids don't know how to play in dirt or swim in a lake.

I feel sad about what is happening to the children - all thanks to technology. I think they are missing out... a lot! I guess parents have their own reasons as to why they have allowed iPods or iPads be used by their children.
Though some do benefit from technology because it allows them to be curious (still with the proper guidance from their parents or nannies).
When I have children in the future, I might not allow them to have iPods or iPhones or maybe they can use it but under my supervision.

@shubhu3 problem will be if they will not have playmates that they can play with right? Because most of their friends are all online.

@funkeyguhl Ya true enough.I wish things would like it used to be in our times or atleast the access to technology should be given only at a certain age.

I miss my childhood days too when I had the chance to go out and play with other kids. Unlike today kids have no longer have the chance to play outdoors because of technology galore.
