At 2:00 P.M. today, my phone rings twice, it was our secretary of our batch has called. She told me that our vice president has passed away this afternoon at 1:30 p.m. I was shocked, we just met last Sunday because we had a monthly meeting in our batch, we did it every 1st Sunday of the month and he was still there. He teased me that he's going to visit me in our house because he wanted to know my son better and he wants that my son and her daughter be engaged and married soon. I just laughed him and replied, alright you can visit anytime. We were that closed because I'm the president and he was my vice pres. Our secretary told me that the cause is cardiac arrest, he was 54.
He's still young to go but we can't say "No" if our time comes.

condolence to his bereaved family. maybe the cardiac arrest was due to heat stroke?

@ridingbet while he was alive, he's always active and has a healthy lifestyle but i think, when it is your time, no one can stop it except Him

@ida123 really? well, maybe it runs in their blood. hereditary factors like heart disease might be included in their family tree

He must be a food lover, and he does not exercise enough.
It always happens to people of that age.
They are always postponing their health checkup and they refuse to admit that they must take medication.
It always happens to those jovial guys with round stomach and round face.

We started our monthly meeting last 2012 and we made our own cooperative, all batch mates were the incorporator. During our monthly meeting, we had prepared meals given by our sponsors who were from abroad and we made it in our school canteen. We had so much fun, old friends and classmates met every month.

@hereandthere Yes, we usually made our meeting at the school canteen. Our monthly topic is about our cooperative and how much we generate income for that month, who are those batch mates who are sick because we give some financial support and most of the time, we are 40 members or more per month.

So sorry to hear about such deaths at an early age. Could it be due to too much heat or heat stroke?
