One year ago today

*I can't help how the photo ends up. This is a picture of my mom and me, when I was four. The man in the back is her father. She died a year ago today, and has probably been spending a lot of time with him. Well, I'm one year closer to seeing her again. I look forward to the hugs I'm going to get from her. We were attached at the hip, and I miss her. Fifty-five years old is too young to die, especially of dementia, but I'm thankful for simply having her at all.

I'm sorry to hear about your Mum although I remember your posts now from Bubblews about your journeys.

@AmbiePam as I do to my husband. And I think about that every day, too.

You have my utmost sympathy. My mom's dementia centered in her front temporal lobe. Do you know what kind your mom has?

Yes, a year. I hope I can keep remembering what it was like to hug her. That's the only thing I hate about time passing. Memories possibly fading. Memories like that anyway.

Oh that is sad dementia at such a young age. I know how much you must miss her but yes be thankful for having her while you did as some people don't have that. What a good looking family.

She was way too young and if you like, I can fix your photo for you, that is one thing I can do.

I've been thinking of you as I remember it would be near the time of her first anniversary. Not only were you lucky to have her as a mother, but she was blessed to have such a wonderful and loving daughter. I'm sure that she's looking down on you and smiling and so proud of the beautiful young lady that you've become.
