Brake Time

When I was in high school a fellow student was driving with a friend (Mike) well Mike was the school clown and he was trying to think of something to do.
They were traveling at 60 or 70 miles per hour on the freeway and Mike reached over and pulled on the emergency brake (hand brake) the rear wheels locked and the car rolled over the pavement, sidewalk and across a ditch into a field.
Of course the car was totaled.
Thank goodness everyone survived wearing a seatbelt but there were a lot of bruises.
Lesson to be learned don't touch the emergency brake at high speed

Thank goodness they were all safe, but what went on with his head that he pulled the hand break at that speed!

He was being his usual jerky self as always. He never thought of what his actions would do to someone.

Some people need to have their heads examined doing such stupid things. That's far from being a clown - he could have killed people.

He always seemed to think things that he did were funny but a lot of people didn't think so. I do believe he learned a lesson from this accident that he caused.

Why on earth would anyone put on the E brake at high speed?

I´m glad there were no mayor injuries. But, why did he do such a thing. Ot had the normal brakes failed?

He was being his normal self not thinking of anything or what could happen. No the normal brakes were fine.

It's a common sense. Why did he step on the brake at that speed? Good thing everyone in the car were fine.

Wow... WHY in the world would anyone do that? Sure,they were young, and him being the school clown, he'd probably want to make his companion laugh. But to risk your life for a laugh is really a dumb thing to do. Thankfully they were saved with the help of their seatbelts and they've definitely learned their lesson!

How dumb could he be. What did he think was going to happen? That was just crazy. I would make him pay for the damage...but I know he was just a kid.
