Almighty Asthma attacks

Last night was one of those nights, I thought I was over having asthma attacks at night, but ended up waking up with watery eyes, an extremely runny nose, and then the sudden feeling of not being able to breathe and started having a bit of an asthma attack. So today, I feel so tired, so worn out, and my chest hurts from the coughing, and 'choking' feeling I got during that time. Asthma itself is so exhausting, and honestly extremely scary. I don't know how many times after an asthma attack I end up sending myself into a panic attack, which again makes things unable to breathe and my body to go numb. How is everyone else doing today?

I hope not. But since the doctor said allergies and asthma go hand in hand and I have a problem with pollen, and everything's growing. I'm not sure how it's going to go.

I slept in too late today. Do you not have a rescue inhaler for these attacks. I know they are expensive, but they can save your life.

Yeah I have a rescue inhaler, I also have my controller which I have increased, but both of which haven't worked well. Jeesh I saw how expensive they are if I didn't have insurance to pay for mine, I think what the pharmacy said was, $290. I was surprised that they were so expensive.

That sounds uncomfortable. Maybe you are not taking the right medication or something.

I'm thinking it's the atmosphere in my apartment, or the weather. My asthma gets worse when the weather gets nicer. I love the pretty weather but I hate how it takes a hold of my breathing.

So sorry this happens to you! (Obviously I am offering my "Like" for support) I get annoyed at my allergies, but I haven't had to deal with something as upsetting as you do. I hope you can get some relief with some treatment or medication.

I hope so. I've tried upping my medication as the doctor told me to do, and that's not helping. It seemed to be helping until the weather got nicer.
