Of fans and clouds, and the mighty sun!

I am here in the veranda and enjoying the wind blowing (it is cool actually) but it is hot when the sun shines brightly without the clouds blocking its rays.¬¬ I am sweating profusely; there goes my insensible loss, but I take ample fluid intake to keep me hydrated. It should always be a volume per volume replacement, like what the doctors order for a patient suffering from acute gastroenteritis.
I am fanning myself with this “campaign fan” that a young lady handed to me yesterday when the party of VP B. came here for their grand rally.
I am making this post with the birds chirping and the vehicles honking; several minutes ago, the mayoralty candidate who poses showing his watch, passed by and waved at the people who were just a few because it is a good time to take afternoon naps at this time of the day.
There were roars of thunder from afar. Will it rain later? I hope so because the last rainfall, or shall I say, the last drizzle we had was on the first of May. It is sweltering hot, so I expect that the rains will fall later.
Is it raining there now?

it is actually a lazy afternoon but now, the wind stopped blowing and the birds are no longer chirping; maybe they are asleep?

it is already afternoon and the clouds seem to have shied away, and i am still sweating profusely. the thunder also disintegrated. but it is gloomy with dark clouds, i hope it will rain tonight

@ridingbet I think the country needs to have more cool places for people to rest when the summer is hot.
I wonder why Filipinos do not talk about going to the library.
Over here, libraries are aplenty, and the young and old like to go to the library to rest.

the malls here are always full of people sitting and enjoying the cool AC on. and sometimes because of so many people just standing by, the mall smells awful already.

@scheng1 our public library is closed this summer where there are no classes. malls are also places where others go to escape the heat.

It sounds like a bit better as there's wind blowing there. It was really hot here last month, but these two weeks, we have rains almost every day, so we feel better now. I have been using those fan to fan myself when it was really hot too, and taking showers many times a day.
Hope you'll get some rain there.
