Cyndi Lauper "Detour"ing to Country!!

Yes, indeed it seems as Cyndi Lauper after six years she's releasing a new album, "Detour" and she's going to be singing country songs!! Wonder if she'll "tame" her outfits down!! I know there have been other singers that have went from rock/pop to country, but it will be hard for me to see Cyndi Lauper doing country!! I don't know about her re doing a Patsy Cline "Walking After Midnight" song because only Patsy Cline could sing it like that!! ~Peace~ photo courtesy of bing public domain images
It was announced on Wednesday that 'DETOUR,' her first solo album in six years, will feature Lauper performing classic country hits.

I get a little upset with a singer that takes another artist's songs and redoes them. I am hoping Cindi does okay for herself. She is a sticker that is for sure. I always enjoyed her costumes. They reminded me of Janis Joplin. She is pretty talented so she should do okay.

@STOUTjodee Haha. Stranger things have happened! Patsy Cline was great. Her voice was so good that when I hear her sing, I fall to pieces.
