I wore rain boots for 15 minutes..... Rain in SoCal is a Joke!

It's pretty silly to own a pair of rain boots living in Southern California, but I got these boots for a sweet deal and I just couldn't pass them up!
My pair of rain boots will last me throughout the rest of my life literally especially since I only wore them for 15 minutes today..
- And -
I don't see myself wearing the boots for long periods of time because the "rain" we get here is a joke. It will rain for a 15 minutes then be dry and gloomy. It does not constantly rain throughout the day even though it's expected too! And "rain" we get is just sprinkles, no need for an umbrella most of the time. There were times where it did storm (2-3 days straight which is rare and at that time, I wished I had some boots).
Is it common for where you live to own a pair of rain boots? These will be my first and last.
The boots are nicely made by Coach - They're the Tristee Rainboots with nice light fur lining to keep you warm/dry!
- Hopefully more rain will come for Saturday! -
Have a lovely weekend everyone! Happy early Mother's Day!

I think they'll be more useful in Connecticut then California.

I guess they can be a cute fashion statement even if they aren't actually practical where you live. I do not own any. I would be too embarrassed to wear them I am not very fashionable. I just wear sneakers or sandals or boots. I have one pair of each pretty much lol.

I no longer have any, and we could use them as it rains a lot in the summer here.

I am sure boots would be more useful in Colorado too! Unlike California weather

Nice boots btw... and when I was little, we always got a new pair of boots each spring but it was for the snow melting when we didn't need snow boots any longer!!

I don't know if rain boots and snow boots are the same thing - I don't own either - no need for them at all. but if I had to need a pair I'd rather need rain than snow boots LOL.

I just wore my Hunter boots to take Doodles out on the wet grass. Since we're dropping names, my Chanel boots are in Florida, my Marc Jacobs are up in the closet with a few others. They get frequent use, but even if you only wear yours once, that is the time to wear them. They're very cute.
