I’m Going to be Sued!

There was a knock on my door and when I opened it there stood my friend Mike. “Hi Mike,” I said. “Come in and I’ll tell you all about why I’m going to be sued.” “You’re going to be sued?” “Yeah.” “How much?” “I think five million dollars.” “Five million dollars!” Mike popped down on my couch. “Wow, that’s a lot of money.” “Yeah it is.” “Who's suing you?” “I’m suing myself.” “What?” “Yeah.” I sat down on the couch. “This morning I decided to pour myself a glass of ice tea. So I got out the ice and filled my glass with ice. Then poured the tea in. As I was sipping it I realized there was too much ice in the glass.” “What does that have to do with you suing yourself.” “I figured if that lady can sue Starbucks for too much ice in their ice coffee then I ought to be able to sue myself for too much ice in my ice tea.” “Really?” Mike leaned forward on the couch. “Where are you going to get five mill to pay yourself?” I scratched my head. “I haven’t thought that far ahead.” “Boy, Richard, you can be really dumb at times.” “Maybe I can sue Starbucks for giving me the idea to put too much ice in my tea. Then I would have enough money to pay myself for my lawsuit.” Mike shock his head. “I think you and that woman suing Starbucks need to see a psychiatrist.” What do you all think? Psychiatrist or sue away?
