It's Mother's Day on Sunday, and it's also my husband's birthday. My son remembered these even I didn't mention it to him.
My son wrote us a small love note, with these words on the note. I am quite surprised he wrote the words quite well and neat. He also made the V into a heart shape, and told me V + m = heart shape. It seems like he has really grown up, and no longer a small kid anymore.
Since the kids like to eat cakes, so we went to Secret Recipes to buy a few slices of cake, and KFC for our dinner, though I didn't think of celebrating it at all initially. Everyone was happy for a small celebration, and I feel loved with the love notes my children wrote to me.
Did you celebrate Mother's Day? How did you celebrate it?

@kaka135 I have a nephew born on the 5th of May and one on the 26th. And now today, on the 9th of May, my niece gave birth to her twin daughters. My husband has two nieces also due soon, though perhaps in June. And my nephew is due to have one in June too. Busy Baby Business.

May seems to be a happening month in my family, as both my husband and my birthdays are in May, our wedding anniversary is in May, and Mothers' Day too. My third baby is going to be born in May as well!
Good that you can meet up with your siblings and celebrating Mother's Day with your mom.

it was a triple celebration yesterday sunday for us -- mothers day, dad's post birthday party and my nephews christening. the house was full-packed with friends (their friends) and relatives. i was able to meet some familiar faces. and the kids were having fun too.

It's good that you celebrated it with your mom. It's always okay to celebrate it earlier or later, as long as you spent time together. I actually do not like to go out for dinner during those festivals, as the restaurants will always be crowded and we always have to wait. I remember there was once we have been looking for restaurants for quite a long time, as we didn't make any reservations.

Aww that's so sweet of your son! And there's KFC there too, cool! Slices of cake is nice way for the celebration. Enjoy
